FAILING, MISSING, OR KNOCKED-OUT TEETH CARE

Understanding Tooth Loss and Trauma

Failing, missing or knocked-out teeth can be caused by decay, injury, infection or gum disease. Without treatment, they can affect how you eat and speak and cause nearby teeth to shift.

We know these situations can be stressful. Our team provides timely care and explains every option so you can make the best decision for your smile.

What to Do and When to Act

If a tooth is loose, cracked or missing, call us right away. For a knocked-out tooth, hold it by the crown, rinse it gently and keep it in milk, then come in within an hour if possible.

Depending on the situation, we may be able to put the tooth back or recommend a long-lasting replacement such as a dental implant, bridge or denture.
