Warden Family Dental

For most people, a checkup and professional cleaning every six months is the right balance. These visits let your dental team remove the plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing miss, and they give your dentist a chance to spot small problems before they turn into painful or costly ones.

Some patients benefit from more frequent visits. If you have gum disease, a history of cavities, diabetes, or you smoke, your dentist may recommend a cleaning every three or four months. Patients with very low risk may be able to space visits a little further apart.

During a regular visit we check your teeth and gums, screen for oral cancer, take X-rays when needed and review your home care. It is also the best time to ask questions about sensitivity, whitening or anything else on your mind.

If it has been a while since your last visit, do not worry. We will never judge you, and we will help you get back on track at a pace that feels comfortable.
